What is Durian?
The durian (pronouced durian) is fruit belonging to the genus Durio and the Malvaceae family. It's called in southeast Asia as the "king of fruits".
Why Durian is King of Fruit?
Durian is called as the king of fruit because it's is distinctive for its large size, unique odour, and formidable thorn-covered husk. Also, Being from it's deemed as the "heaty" fruit which opposite from "cooling" fruit, mangosteen. Just like yin and yang, male and female, it's then called as king of fruit.
